The UG applicants will be awarded scholarship based on their academic Performance in 10th & 12th examination. It will also be based on their performance in the EXIN entrance exam, and personal interview. In general, people will be entitled to 40% scholarship. If anyone want to get more, then he or she will have to sit for an entrance test. The scholarship will depend on his or her performance in the admission test. Whatever percentage of marks a student will get in the said entrance test, the student will be awarded scholarship corresponding with percentage of marks he or she obtained . EXIN believes that no one should be deprived of education, because of unfair circumstances in life. 100% scholarship will be awarded to 100 people, and 50% scholarship will be given to 50 people. A student will be given opportunity to sit for the scholarship test 4 times.
Those students with annual gross parental income less than 60,000 is entitled to a scholarship. The needy and poverty-stricken should not be deprived of education and our scholarship has been designed accordingly.
Those with recommendation from MLA, MP, Headmaster, Principal, Bank Manager, Govt. Gazetted Officer etc. will also be awarded scholarship on the basis of the same.
Students, fulfilling the eligibility conditions, family income and academic performance, criteria of annual gross parental income, should submit applications along with all supporting documents by the 1st week. The Merit-cum-Means will be awarded for one year only , and a fresh application must be made for 2nd year onwards.
The Schedule Caste students are given various facilities. They are eligible for the scholarship under the scheme to the extent of the number of scholarships allocated to them .The scholarship is completely merit based and the top ones in each institutions are entitled to it. The scholarship will be awarded to only the top students, if the number of students admitted exceeds the quota, which has been reserved for them.
Scholarship Application Forms with detailed eligibility criteria are available in all EXIN Centres, and have even been uploaded on the EXIN website (www.exteriorinteriors.com). It is also available with the Application Kit. Eligible students should submit all the relevant documents in the prescribed format as suggested in the brochure. Merit-cum-Means scholarship may be continued for subsequent years, on the condition that the student fulfills eligibility conditions/criteria of annual gross parental/family income, and academic performance at the institution.
